Illustrative Artwork

Every artist has money-only-pieces, the tattoos you take just to pay the bills, and a lot of us think that's all they'll ever be.
But almost anything can shift into a bridge-piece if you know where to push. I look at the placement or look at if I can bring in the color palette I love. Then I look at the subject and find even just one detail I can make entirely mine. It's not about tricking the client into something they didn't ask for. It's about finding the overlap between what they want and what grows your portfolio. Do this enough and your calendar stops being full of money-only-pieces. It starts being work you're proud to post. Comment or dm FILTER for the full tattoo strategy that gets any tattooer to a portfolio full of their dream pieces
