This was my first cactus tattoo ever, but it couldn't just be any cactus. It had to be an origami cactus, because it had to fit with the other origami tattoos she already had on her arm.
So we designed it together and built the reference image so I could work from it and stay true to it as close as possible.
Planning my colors before I started, I didn't have to worry about guessing mid session, which mattered even more with green since so many greens can be too cool or too yellow.
Natural greens are muted in real life, so I used some fun dirty greens for this one.
