But somewhere along the way the tattoo industry turned gratitude into a reason to undercharge, overwork and never ask for more.

And most of us never even questioned it because it was handed to us so early it just felt like the truth.

You can love this craft completely and still want more from the career you've built around it.

Those two things were never supposed to be in conflict.

And also, how the fuck am I even here right now? How is this place even real?

Yes I was initially afraid to walk across the bridges... more so with my phone out lol.

This river is right behind where we have our meals out here so you hear the water rushing the entire time.

It was too much to hear it and not come down and explore.
