I used to think the problem was my clients. That I just needed people to reach out already ready to get a cool tattoo, without me having to educate every client on cost and what actually makes a piece good.

But the real problem was I was burned out, and I had no idea how to set up my system to bring in the clients I actually wanted.

So I kept blaming the inquiries. The negotiating. The consults themselves.

I kept bandaging my symptoms instead of fixing what was actually broken.

Turns out consults weren't the issue, burnout was.
